1. STAKE OUT
The stakeout sets the location of the pool in the yard. This gives the home owner an opportunity to visualize the placement of the pool and make any changes if necessary. While this process is taking place, trees are removed, utility lines are marker and rerouted, and the appropriate permits are obtained.
Excavation is the process of digging and molding the ground into the shape of your pool. Excess dirt is removed, forms are set, and the elevation is determined.
Rebar is placed in the floor and walls of the pool to provide the shape of the pool. Rebar is set on 8" centers and perimeter is tied in a box beam.
The stub out plumbing includes the skimmers, drains, returns, and suction points.
5. PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL
The plumber installs all underground piping including water and gas lines. The equipment is set and the electrician follows with the installation of service equipment, inside controller, and test equipment.
6. TILE AND COPING
Finishing touches are completed with tile or stone installed at the water line and coping is placed on the top of the beam with your choice of brick or stone. Water features are constructed of water falls, raised walls, vanishing edges, sheer descents, etc.
7. DECK INSTALLATION
Installation of the deck or patio area is constructed. The grade is leveled, forms are set, and the rebar and expansion joints are installed. Channel drains or 4" pipe are installed to control drainage. Decking options could include pear gravel, spray deck, stamped pavers, flagstone, brick, or patterned concrete.
8. SURFACING AND REFINISH
Many options are available at this stage. White plaster is a standard feature. Upgrades are available in colored marcite, diamond brite, exposed pebble finish, all tile, or pebble tech, the construction is completed at this stage and the pool is filled.
All final details are completed to include initial startup of the equipment, startup chemicals to achieve water balance, final cleanup, and pool school.
